I calibrated Dirac Live within an Arcam AVR30 (the first one in the UK) for a customer whom I had calibrated his AVR850 previously. The system consisted of Monitor Audio Platinum speakers, SVS SB13 Ultra Subwoofer and Chord Electronics HiFi kit.
This was a long calibration (around 8 hours) where I worked really hard to try and maximise the sound quality from the system for both movies and music. One of the benefits of the new Arcam range of AVR’s is 3 memory slots for Dirac saved files. I used all of these to create one calibration specific for music. The other 2 saved files I created 2 different calibrations, one I created that I thought sounded best and a second using the Music Calibration aspect for home cinema also. The customer ended up choosing the calibration I thought sounded best but he has the choice to change whenever he wants.
