I calibrated Dirac Live online within an Arcam SA30 Stereo amplifier with DAC and streamer built in for a customer in Sweden with their Elac Vela speakers
The customer has a lovely open plan room and was struggling to get his system nicely balanced sounding which is not surprising and they hired me to help. I worked with the customer online to take a correct set of Dirac measurements to allow for the best Calibration. The measurements showed me quite a lot about the system and how great the job was done by Elac with the speakers
I set the calibration target to a point I thought would be great to start with and should create an nicely balanced sound with detail, smoothness and good bass. The customer was extremely happy with this calibration however I insisted he let me create him a second target using another memory slot as I felt I could push the system more to get a better result. The customer was extremely happy with both.
